Mount Wellington, Tasmania
A Facebook Memory came up today. It is a view over Hobart from the top of Mount Wellington.
The post reads “At the summit of Mt Wellington, looking down on Hobart, Tasmania. Only 3 degrees C and a helluver wind! Nearly 1,300 metres above sea level”.
It was also taken as a Pano shot on my iPhone. Pano is Panoramic. I don’t know if it is available on other mobile phones. To take one:
Open Camera on your iPhone.
Choose Pano mode.
Tap the Shutter button.
Pan slowly in the direction of the arrow, keeping it on the centre line.
To finish, tap the Shutter button again.
Facebook used to “play” with these types of photo and allow you to scroll around. I’m not sure if you can still do that. I haven’t tried for a while.
